Yes, Cash App can link credit cards, but it’s very hit-or-miss.
It usually accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, but only if your bank allows Cash App transactions. Many banks block it by default.
Most people get errors because the billing address or name doesn’t match exactly, or their bank flags it as a risky transaction.
Also — Cash App charges a 3% fee when you send money using a credit card.

I tried linking two Visa cards and both failed until I updated the billing info to match my Cash App profile word-for-word. After that, it worked instantly.
My Chase card worked; my Capital One didn’t.
And yes, every credit-card payment on Cash App comes with a 3% charge, so it’s not ideal unless you really need to use a credit card.
